Adding Coupons

Is there anyway to configure the "Add to Cart" button to add a coupon along
with the product? Has anyone added custom code to the form action for Add to
Cart to do this before? Thanks in advance.

You can not add both a coupon and a product to the cart at the same
time. This has been added as an enhancement request for a future version.

Thanks Jim for the information. We just recently purchased a copy of
ShopSite and were a little surprised this functionality wasn't in the
software, so hopefully this feature will make it in the next update to
ShopSite.

It would be nice to have a way to click a single link/button and have it add
a product(s) and coupon at the same time. Otherwise, the customer either has
to know to enter in a coupon code or click a coupon link. In some cases we
want this to be transparent to the customer. Thanks for listening.

I know it's not a PERFECT solution (and it probably SHOULD be built in) but, if you need it now, the great guys at Lexiconn have a solution for this:
