multiple product text boxes

HI,
I am need to create multiple(3) text entry boxes for a product, is this possible? I only see 1 text box option in product options. I know this was not possible in older versions of shopsite has there been an update? I am currently using v14.

Here is a cookbook article that shows how to do this in various versions of ShopSite. For v14, you can add multiple text fields by just using the name="[-- PRODUCT.RecordNumber --]:merchant" in your custom input fields (in a custom template). You would also need to make sure you have the checkboxes checked to both allow merchant input fields and to display merchant input fields (Commerce > Order System > Shopping Cart).

I would suggest creating a copy of whatever product template you are currently using, and just name it "Two-TextFields" or "Three-TextFields" etc, so you can select to use this alternate template for products you want multiple text entry fields for.
