Ability For Customer Upload

I know this has been addressed in the past, but is there a way to allow customers to upload a file during checkout? I know they can be given an option on the "Thank You" page, but I was wondering if it is available earlier in the transaction now.

There is no ShopSite feature allowing shoppers to upload files, however you can implement your own file upload script to do so.

You could add a link to pop open a new window to upload files through your own custom upload script on any page in the shopping cart, but it would be difficult to tie it to a specific order unless it were on the final Thank You page where the order number is known and can be passed to your custom upload script.
