User Account Feature And GoDataFeed

Postby extragear » Thu Aug 06, 2015 11:58 am

Hi there:

We are considering starting to use the User Account function. I know that there is a disclaimer-warning which states,

"Warning! If you use 3rd-party applications to download and process orders, pages, or products, you may need a newer version of the application. Examples include ShopSite Order Transfer (for Quickbooks), Stone Edge Order Manager, eBridge, etc. Click here for a list of compatible applications that support ShopSite User Accounts."

One of the programs listed as possibly being not compatible is GoDataFeed. Is there any update concerning whether GoDataFeed will still work once we switch to the User account function?

Thanks
Tim

You would need to contact GoDataFeed to ask them if they have integrated with ShopSite using the OAuth authentication method. If not, don't change to this new login method. Unless you are hosted at Lexiconn, who I believe has a OAuth bridge module that will act as a gateway between Basic Authentication and OAuth authentication.
