New Carousel Feature

I love the idea of having this feature. I'm using the 3Column theme for my store and I can't seem to get the carousel feature to work. I hope this feature works with the 3Column theme. I hope I don't have to create a custom template to use this feature. Maybe I'm just not doing something right.

I enabled the Carousel feature in one of the new themes to verify that it worked. I then switched themes to the 3 Column theme and published and the images display and cycle through the loop but the display is not optimal. The area where the images load is to the right of the column on the left of the screen and since the size defaults to fullwidth (I think) the images run off the right side of the screen. So there would be some modification that would need to be done to the css used in the carousel.
