Font size on orders page

Postby hiamps » Wed Feb 11, 2015 3:31 pm

Hi, we updated our shopsite pro to ShopSite® Pro 12 sp1 r1, and now when I print orders the font is so big even small orders print on 2 pages. Before most orders only needed 1 page. I am not sure where to even start looking. I haven't changed any printer options.

There are css styles assigned to the elements of the order on the View Order screen. You can view the html source of the View Orders screen and see the styles that are being use.
You can modify those styles by adding custom css to the View Order Header section on Orders > Configure screen. The header section is added above most of the content of the order page, just above the Order Number block. So any styles you add there will affect the rest of the page.

The packing slip layout was changed to make it a template so that merchants can change it to better suit there needs. In order to change the packing slip it was also necessary to make changes to the view order screen since they are closely tied together. We tried to match the old layout as closely as possible but there are some differences. There are some new fields that were added to the order that need to be placed on the view order screen so that also made some changes to the screen.

In most printers that I have worked with there is a setting to resize the output to fit on a single page. Have you tried seeing if your printer setup has such a setting?

Lexiconn is great with their support and they can probably help you get it looking the way you want it.
