web page compatibility

Postby queenofangels » Mon Feb 03, 2014 12:25 pm

My web pages don't appear correctly in all browsers. Is there something I need to add to each Page?? I using ShopSite® Pro 11 sp2 r3.

It is almost impossible to get webpages to look exactly the same in all the different browsers because the browsers interpret html codes differently.
We would need to see the exact page with the problem so we could view it in different browsers and see what isn't looking right.

Jim,
Simply go to the home page of queenofangelsjax.com using foxfire. The page counter and authentication logo are in the wrong place, they should be on the bottom of the page.

They are a the bottom of the page in both Firefox and Google Chrome. (I don't have IE since I run a Linux desktop)

The order of the page is 7 rows of 3 images in a table,
Centered horizontally on the page underneath that is a page counter of crosses.
Below that is your text, centered on two lines "The Queen Of Angels Catholic Store Web Site is a secure site, no information will be shared.
Copyright © 2011 Queen of Angels Catholic Store".
Below that centered on the page is a Komodo certificate seal.

There are two thing that looks odd 1. there is a small SSL link just above the Komodo seal in both Firefox and Chrome and 2. The colors for the top and left borders of all the boxes are different colors.
