I am looking for a user manual - specifically so I can see the syntax of the product options, but also in general because I want a quick reference instead of having to watch a video. (The videos are nice, though!) I cannot find one. Looked at FAQ, support, etc. Does one exist?

Click on the ? icon on the right side of the navigation bar in the merchant interface (backoffice) of your store and you will be taken to help for that particular page.
If you go to http://shopsite.com/help/ it gives links to all versions of the help from ShopSite 7 to the current version ShopSite 12. There are separate help pages for the Pro, Manager and Starter levels of ShopSite so make sure you click on the link for the version and product level you are using.
