Shipping question

I currently offer free shipping with purchases of over $25.00. When a buyer qualifies for the free shipping, the options in the cart then appear as:

*Standard Shipping
*Free Standard Shipping

Is there a way to get rid of the "Standard Shipping" line when someone qualifies for free shipping? Both are the same exact service.

There is no way to remove shipping options unless that particular option can not be used. For example if you ship by USPS and the package weighs 5 pounds then the First Class rate would not be displayed because first class packages can't be that heavy. There may be cases where a person qualifies for Free shipping but chooses another method because it is faster. So we haven't implemented any way to remove a method just because a Free option exists.
