Google Plus Configuration

When I tried to implement the "follow us" icon for Google Plus I get a broken link. The links for Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest work OK. The Google Plus icon shows up, but it is a broken link. How can I correct this problem? (I did put in my Google Plus ID.) Also, the Google Plus button that allows a "share" function works OK.

Use the NUMBER from your Google+ page's URL, not the NAME on your Google+ account. Google+ doesn't force the account names to be unique, so they aren't used for the URLs. The numbers are unique.

I did use the number. The button link is broken, not the account information.

I just tried it and it works fine for me. Make sure when you copy the number that you don't include any spaces or / characters.

I know the number I put in works because the share button for google plus 1 works. It's the other icon for "follow us" that doesn't work.

The share button doesn't use the number.

Well, I don't know about the number then. I put in the number from the Google Plus profile URL. I couldn't find any other number.
