Assigning resized image not working

Postby tgavin » Mon Jul 09, 2007 9:16 am

SS 8.3
GD bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
Linux with cPanel

I set the image resize options (Images > Configure).
I made sure the radios were checked to create resized images.
I uploaded an image, and ticked the checkbox to create resized images.

In my edit product info page, I have the pulldown set to use the medium image. When I view my page in a browser, I see the large (original) image.

I've even tried going back to the images page, selecting the image and clicking the Create Resized images button.

No dice.

What product template are you using for the products? Some of the older product templates do not use this feature (yet?).

Default product template. I changed it to the tab_product_template and it's now working. Of course, now the button images are missing :)

The tab templates are designed to work together (page and product templates) as a single theme. If you just choose the tab product template certain variables are no initialized, that is why you aren't getting the buttons.

Try using the DefaultCustomProductTemplate and see if that works.

It's pretty straightforward that the templates work together. However, I would have assumed that since they're seperate components (or at least *seem* to be) that they would work independently too.

Anyway, it's working. Thanks :)

A while ago I got up when it was still dark and not wanting to wake my wife I grabbed 2 socks out of the drawer and put on my shoes. It wasn't until I got to work that someone mentioned the unique pair of shoes and socks I was wearing.
