Credit Cards will not process

Postby mkcardenas » Tue Nov 14, 2006 4:37 pm

Hello - I have just completed a ShopSite store (1st time!) Applied for a PayPal Pro account - downloaded and installed the API certificate. Everything went smoothyl...however, I cannot process credit cards through the cart.
Error Message reads:
Payment Processing Error
Your order was not processed
There was a problem processing your credit card information.
Please verify that the following were entered correctly:
Zip Code
Card Number
Expiration Date
If you repeatedly see this message, complete your order by contacting the merchant directly.

NOPE - all the information is correct, Did I miss a step in the installation?
Can someone out there please help me?? I need to get this up ASAP! (Naturally!)

Go to the PayPal Website Payments Pro configuration screen in your ShopSite and check the 'Display Error Details' checkbox and then try your test order again, the error codes returned from PayPal should display underneath the generic error message.

Secured policies

Postby rainbow77 » Sat Dec 16, 2006 3:53 pm

Before purchasing anything online from e-comeerce sites by credit cardsone should always look for the secured policy if configured for that particular website. The protocol named as secure socket layer is the only soltuion for the secured policy. There are many players available in the market but I would like to have some more information on one the player. Anyone who knows more about wildcard certificates please throw some light on the same.

Did you ever get this resolved?

I am having the exact same problem. I am trying to use Paypal Payflow Pro. And I am getting the same message. And as usual I am also trying to get this up and running ASAP!
