Seeking advice on setup

Here's my scenario.

We have a product we want to sell people but it's access to an online video so it's not a shipped product per se. They are a series of training videos. What we need is a way to have people sign up and pay for access. We also need to be able to let person's who've paid to log in to access the content as well. I've spent a couple of hours looking for info on this. My superiors informed me that we own shopsite and so I figured I'd regroup my efforts and start here.

Just looking for someone to steer me in the right direction so I don't waste time with dead ends

What version of ShopSite do you have? The Pro level of newer versions has download support.

Also, with the Pro version you could write an Order API to work with a third party authentication system for access to streaming content.
