Ordering options with drop down menus on more info pages

Hi,
I am trying to create pull down menus with ordering options on my more info pages. I thought I found the answer to this utilizing the "ordering options" in the edit product info and edit product layout sections. And using some tags in my more info page I used

[-- PRODUCT.DisplayOrderingOptions --] and

[-- PRODUCT.OptionText --] (this worked)

I have been through this forum and the help files. I know this is possible without pulling my hair out to much....always the little things.

If some one could offer some advice or point me in the right direction.

[-- PRODUCT.DisplayOrderingOptions --] is only useful in an IF tag, i.e. [-- IF PRODUCT.DisplayOrderingOptions --] and it will be true if the product's 'Display Ordering Options' checkbox has been checked. The actual tag to use to output the HTML for the pull-downs you have configured for the product is either [-- ORDER_OPTION_MENU COLUMN --] or [-- ORDER_OPTION_MENU LINE --] (depending on whether you want multiple pull-downs listed one above the other, or all in one line). You should review the entire 'Ordering Options' section of the custom product template specification in the documentation here:

Im sure ill be writing again for your(others) advice...I know I have a couple of issues to contend with.
