Increasing Quantity Discount - 6 items=10%, 12 items=15% off

I've recently converted http://argylewinery.com from Mercantec SoftCart to ShopSite PRO 8.0. One major issue I'm having is with categories and blanket discounts.

Increasing Quantity Discount - 6 items=10%, 12 items=15% off

In Mercantec, I was able to set up two categories relevant to my store - "wines" and "merchandise". Merchandise had no volume discounts, whereas "wines" had discounts for 6 bottle and 12+ bottle quantities. The 10% and 15% discounts applied to the entire order, no matter is someone purchased 6 of one wine, or 2 bottles of 3 different wines, making 6 total items for the "wines" category.

In ShopSite, it seems that I am only able to give per-SKU discounts at 10% and 15% using the "Product Quantity Pricing" field for each product. This is an incomplete solution and breaks 7 years of website discounting practice.

I found the "Discount Schedule" page in the ShopSite backend. Sadly, it only offers $-value discounts, not quantity-based discounts.

A) Is there any way to force "Discount Schedule" to offer quantity-based disocunts generically throughout the store?

B) Is there a way to configure ShopSite to allow for my successful 10% and 15% volume discounts on any combination of wine products?

Thank you,

Jason
