Multiple Columes on Page of Page Links

I want a page of page links, that looks just like those that are in boxes runnin down the left side in some templates [elite pa, for exampe]. I can't seem to figure out how to get the links to display in more than one column. Setting the page to multiple columns seems only to work for products, not pages.

None of the ShopSite templates include code to output multiple columns of links but it can be done using the tag [-- LOOP LINKS number --] in place of the tag [-- LOOP LINKS --] in a page template. The "number" is how many columns you want to have. You also need to put in some table formatting tags like you would have if you were outputting multiple columns of products.

I figured it out... text 3 down side template & multiple columns turned on does the trick.
