Help with weight

Postby Pete Davis » Fri Jun 09, 2006 10:15 am

Can I make shopsite start a new box when weight = 62 lbs? It seems to allow
all items as 1 box sometimes 300 lbs...I use FedEx and am shipping by weight
and have to set all weights manually.

If you are using Shipping by Weight, then you should adjust your weight
ranges and associated costs so that anything over 62 lbs costs more
based on the multiple boxes that you would need to ship it in. The
weight ranges and associated costs are up to you to configure when using
Shipping by Weight, ShopSite does not 'start' any 'boxes' here.

Hi Loren,
I have done up to 300 lbs for Parcel post and FedEx...Sure wish that new
version you told me would be released first Quarter would come out. I have
to put costs in at farthest distance so that I am covered for my East Coast
orders...someone ordering in Oregon is probably afraid to order from me as
think I am ripping them off for shipping... Any news yet???
