Global Tag Returning more than expected

The Global Tag [-- ShopSite_Images --] when used in the following way

<img src="[-- ShopSite_Images --][-- PRODUCT.Field4 --]">

returns

<img src="http://www.ahoycaptain.com/shop/media/en-US/henri-lloyd/logo.gif">

The value of PRODUCT.Field4 is /henri-lloyd/logo.gif

My media folder is www...../shop/media with sub-folders for each of my
suppliers.

Where is the "en-US" coming from?

What I want is <img
src="http://www.ahoycaptain.com/shop/media/henri-lloyd/logo.gif">

The URL returned by the [-- ShopSite_Images --] tag is the location of
the ShopSite backoffice graphics and the default shopping cart buttons,
not the 'media' subdirectory of your output directory. To get that, use
[-- STORE.Output_URL --]/media
