increased Credit Card fraud

Hi folks,

In the past six months, our ShopSite eCommerce site has seen a big increase in fraud order placed using stolen credit cards. We use Paypal and Authorize.Net for processing payment. We have set up Authorize.net to obtain the highest security in processing cards (use of CCV, exact address match), but we still get orders placed with stolen cards. We have a manual screen process that catch some, but the bad guys are getting smarter and harder to catch.

I was wonder if others are experiencing this issue and what kinds of action you have taken to stop or catch these types of orders?

I have searched through the forum and have not found recent activity on this topic. If I missed something, please accept my apology for asking and point me to it.

We also use Authorize.net and most of the time we only have minor problems. Every once in a while we have what seems to be a few stretch of time, like an hour but overall we have been pretty happy with Authorize.net
