merchant product field tag or javascript variable?

Found some documentation, but wanted to be sure, is there a ShopSite template tag or a javascript variable for the merchant product field? We are using it for some custom coding and it would be a great help! Thanks!

is available in product defines (html pages and moreinfo pages) but not on any cart defines.
