Clearing out deleted product without Publish

Greetings,

I need to have the products that have been deleted from our shopsite database to be fully removed. My understanding of this is that the only way to do this is to publish the site, however it's a legacy site built using the buy anywhere buttons and if I publish it I fear it will remove all of the pages and try to template over them (I could be wrong). Is there a way to clear out the deleted inventory or can I set the publish to not affect any of the pages that are already on the domain?

If you have no pages listed in the Pages menu in your ShopSite, then ShopSite will not create any HTML pages on your site, and therefore there would be no chance of it overwriting any of your existing HTML pages. You could also go to Utilities -> Publish and uncheck the 'Generate HTML pages during update' and even if you did have pages listed in the Pages menu a Publish would not create them. Just remember that you have unchecked this option because if you want to use ShopSite-generated HTML pages in the future you will need to re-enable it.
