Stone Edge vs Mail Order Manager

I gave up with StoneEdge and went (back) to MOM. I had forgotten about all the problems I had with them. They discontinued support for ShopSite. Their import facility is buggy.
The program itself is dated.
Stay far away from them. Oh, they charged me $4000 to go from version 5 to 8. Less than a year after I went back to MOM, they wanted over $5000 to go from 8 to 9.
And the sales people previously told me there would be no version 9, the program was so mature.

I'm thinking in the years to come to try QuickBooks. Any thoughts?
