BOGO with a coupon code

From reading the board history, there are no new updates on this since the latest SS release. We currently have a Reward set up for a "Buy one Product X" and "Get either Product Y or Z free". That is okay, but difficult to display in the cart and customers are missing the free item.

Has an option been added to the Coupon section to allow for specific promotions like this? We are part of a Google Promo beta and can't use this promo, as no coupon code is associated with it. Frustrating, as we want to market this widely.

There has been no changes recently in either the rewards program or the coupons that would allow a BOGO. Coupons are either of a % off or a specific amount off of the order. You can specify that a coupon applies to just certain products and the number of products that must be purchased for the coupon to apply. You could have the coupon of 50% off be on a single product and require that 2 of them be added to the cart before the coupon applies. That would essentially give you the two items for the price of one.
