ShopSite passes the email to the sendmail application running on the server on Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris, or a smpt host on a Windows server. Once that is done the email is no longer in control of ShopSite and it is all handled by the server. I am assuming that you made not change to ShopSite settings (since they can't be done from the merchant interface) so something on the server has changed. You can test the sending of emails by going to the backoffice of your store and changing the url so it has diagnose.cgi as the cgi, so if you login to https://mydomain.com/ss/start.cgi you would go to the url https://mydomain.com/ss/diagnose.cgi. Then scroll down on that page and there is a section where you can send a test email using the same mechanism as ShopSite uses for orders. Send a test email and see what response you get on the screen, it may give you some information about what is causing the problem.
