Emailing the receipt to customer

Is there a way to email a copy of the receipt/invoice to a customer?

ShopSite automatically sends an email receipt to the customer upon the completion of their order.

Are you asking about sending another copy to the customer after the first? There is no copy of the email receipt to the customer kept by ShopSite or sent to the merchant. That being said, there are two options:

1) You can send the customer a copy of your Order Notification email. PLEASE NOTE: if you do this, you will want to delete any sensitive information (storeid, payment processing info, backoffice login URL, etc) before sending a copy to the customer.

2) It is possible to print the order (from the ShopSite View Order screen) to a file on your computer. That file could then be attached to an email and sent to the customer. NOTE: for this option, you would want to make sure the file type is something fairly common so the customer could open/view the attachment.

Yes, this would be a second copy that I would need, aside from the one automatically sent, as well as the one I print out on my end. Thanks for the info.

I checked with the developers and they have informed me that the ability to resend order receipts to customers has been added to the next release of ShopSite.
