Assigning products to a page based on multiple parameters

Hi,

I'd like to assign products to a page based on more than just a simple/single search.

A couple of examples:

SKU contains CLOTHING and Price < $50
Name contains Patagonia and On Sale is set

Can you tell me is there's a way to do this? (short of downloading and messing with the database outside of Shopsite)

This sort of function would also be very useful in Product search.

Currently there isn't a way to do multiple searches in the backoffice in a single action.
So about the only way is to do it in a download of the products and then upload.

Any chance Shopsite will add this function? It would come in awfully handy - for assigning products, for searching and (power) editing, for assigning products to coupons...

(I'm envisioning perhaps a 'search these results' capability, similar to this phpBB forum.)

I have requested it as an enhancement but so far it hasn't reached a priority for the engineering staff. Why don't you add a request to the enhancement section of the forum. Maybe that will have more pull than my request.
