authroize.net testing

I have configured Shopsite to work with Authorize.net in payment services and all works seems to work well. when I place the order, I enter the billing and shipping information and when I click "Place Order", it takes me to the secured Authorize.net page for entering the credit card information.

I want to roll out the site to several people for more thorough testing. I would like to use the authorize.net sandbox environment. There is no way to change the host in the authorize.net SIM settings. I tried using the authorize.net processor under credit cards but then it functions differently.

The configuration file is anetsim.aa in the store's data directory. You will need to edit it directly to put it in test mode and again to take it out of test mode. You will need to get the required parameters for using it in test mode from Authorize.net.

You should be able to just used the normal mode to do your testing. Create a low price item ($1.00) set the mode to authorization so the card isn't actually charged until you bill the order. You can always reverse the charge in your Authorize.net account.
