How to Remove Postcode/zip code option from shooping cart

I am using GST for tax and it has a constant tax for regardless of state. But the shopping cart(Not in Checkout) screen shows postcode option which i don't want to show checked shopping cart section in back office cant find an option to remove it. Any ideas?

If you are using a tax method that could require a ZIP/Postal code the field will display on the Shopping cart screen. The only way to remove it would be to disable the tax method itself.

The postal code info is passed to the checkout screen and used to fill in the Ship To address zip/postal code field. When the shopper tries to finalize the order If the Ship To zip/postal code field no longer matches what was entered on the shopping cart screen, they will be forced to go back to the shopping cart screen and enter the proper ShipTo zip code. There is really no way that you can get around this functionality even if you tried to remove the zip/postal code field from the shopping cart using javascript.
