SEARCHRESULT question and additional fields

Hi there. I am trying to make the page so that my SEARCHRESULT page does not display the product and add to cart, but just the link to the page. Also, I am trying to get the search to read other fields. I want Text 3 under Page Text Fields to be read. The search is bypassing this field.

The information displayed for the product on a search page is dictated by the product template that is assigned on the Preferences > Search Setting > Search layout. If you don't want any product info to display on the search results you will need to create a product template that is essentially empty and assign that for the product Override template. Also for the Search Destination on the Edit Product Layout screen set it to Page.

To have extra product fields indexed you go to Preferences > Search Settings > Search Indexing.
