Editing Checkout page

Two questions:

1. How do you edit the checkout page - the one after the credit card information in- in order to view it for editing? The only way I see now is by putting credit card info in every time as well as shipping info.

2. Is there a way to edit the shopping cart pages layout - like placement and spacing?

You can do both of those with a custom template. What I would suggest would be go to go Merchandising > Custom Templates > Shopping Cart > Copy ShopSite Template. Make a copy of the sc_default. You can then modify the template the way that you want. I typically click on my custom shopping cart template > Preview. Keep the preview window open and you can just keep refreshing it as you make changes to the various pages of the checkout.
