Link to form to gather customer information

We plan to provide online payment for membership in our organization. The application is a full 8.5"x11" page to gather much information about the member. Can we link to an html form or a Wufoo form which is setup to gather all the application information? Would we link from the product page or the shopping cart page? If from either page, what link would we need to "get back" to the product/cart page?

Are you wanting to create your own form, then pass all the information from that form to ShopSite with the order? or are you wanting to have your own form, and after they complete the form have customers passed to ShopSite to pay for the membership? The second method is easier because you would have complete control over your form. With the first option, you would need to have all the information that is filled out passed to the product via the ordering options or customer text entry field. The following page shows how you can setup multiple text entry fields that pass all their information into the ShopSite product text entry field.

Another option available in ShopSite Pro would be to add the customer fields as part of the checkout process using the custom checkout field options.

We will use our own form to capture the needed information, then pass the customer to ShopSite to pay for the membership. Can we call our own form from within a ShopSite page, then pass the customer back to ShopSite? If so how do we call the form from within a Shopsite page?
