Hi
I am very new to shopsite, Please help me to do this one

My req:

I have added products in my site and created some categories and assigned products to this categories.

I want to list these categories in my sidebar and while clicking the categories it should go the product page , in which the products which belongs to that category should display.

How can I do this?

any help will highly appreciated

If you just want the links to each product page listed directly in the navigation links section, sorted by category with a category heading, look into this tutorial for looping through categories:

(The basic idea is to assign all the links to the page, then loop through to check the correct category before displaying the link on the page).

If you mean you just want the main categories in the navigation and then click through to a single page that will then display all the pages in the category, then you will have to create a separate category page for each category and link to it in the navigation.
