Google Checkout - your thoughts

We've been considering adding Google Checkout to our established site and have been doing some research. It was my impression that it was very simular to paypal but without all fees. But for having the Google name I'm not finding much information that positively promotes the program. A quick search online takes you to their forums which seems to be full of upset consumers and users. But we all know that bad press gets more attention then positive press.

I was unable to find the Google Checkout number to call for account questions. I noticed that some post mention that all support was done via email only. I also haven't come across many Shopsite stores that are currently using this feature.

If you do use this feature or have used it I would love to hear your thoughts. I'm not looking to replace Paypal but I do recognize that more and more my customers would prefer not to use it.

We tried it but kept getting error messages and absolutely no Support from Google...We gave up but do use Pay Pal.
