First time poster wants to setup t-shirt in shopsite

I want to use the program to help take orders for t-shirts, I have tried to set it up in shopsite but it is not coming out right.
I want a person to send me their design or photo and select the amount of tshirts to order. I will give them just 5 selections from 12 to 100 for the quantity. This seems to me to be very easy to do but it is not coming out right. Can someone give me the step by step directions or is the only thing I will get is to use the help(which I have)button to get it done.

Your explanation of what you want to do is not very clear.
What product level is your ShopSite, Starter, Manager or Pro?

Do you want a pull down list with options like
12
25
50
75
100

Are they going to be offered different sizes?
Small,
Medium
Large
X-Large

Adult sizes, child sizes

Note that there is no functionality in ShopSite for the shopper to upload an image so you would need to have them email the image to you.

Sorry for the incomplete post. There is no sizes one size fits all. A pull down menu is fine if that is the easiest way to set it up, So I can put and email address on the page for them to send their photo, etc.

What product level of ShopSite do you have? That will determine how this can be done.

If you have a starter store you would need a product for each quantity (if there will be a price break for quantity).

For manager an pro you could use the Order Option pricing.
You would set the product price to be the price of a single shirt or the price of a certain quantity which is your lowest amount (12) if the basic price for 12 is 100.00 the price of the first would be the base price and each option after that would be a multiple of that.
You would enter the options in the product Pull Down Menu section like this.

Select Quantity;n
12 ($100.00)
25 ($200.00);*2
50 ($375.00);*3.75
75 ($500.00);*5
100 ($800.00);*8

The format is the options are
name (text price) ; option modifier off of base product price.

If you have a Pro level store you could just the Quantity pricing table and fill in the first column with your quantity group, Enter the price for each item when the X number of products are purchased. (if they will ever be on sale you can enter a sale price. The advantage of this method is that they would not have to order exact quantities but the price would be adjusted based on if the make the quantity price brake. So for example they could order 52 instead of just 50 and be charged at the each price for 50 rather than having to purchase 75 when they only want 52.

Jim I'm using the starter. I don't know if the instructions you gave me are for the starter or the manager or the pro. Or if there are three different levels. Again thanks for the help, I guess I should have mention that it is the starter that I'm using.

For starter level you would need to create a separate product for each each quantity that you want the shopper to be able to choose. So if you want 5 selections for the shopper to choose from you would need to create a product for each selection.

Product 1 would be for 12 shirts and have the price you will charge for the 12 shirts.
So go to Products, click Add a product, Enter the name you want for the 12 shirt item, enter the price for 12 shirts, Enter the description and Save changes
Product 2 would be for your next selection level
Again go to Products, click Add a product, Enter the name you want for the 25 shirt item, enter the price for 25 shirts, Enter the description and Save changes.
For products 3, 4 and 5 you would do the same by adding a product, entering the name, entering the price for each quantity, enter the description and Save changes.

Next you would go to Pages, create a page that contains descriptive text to tell the shopper about what you offer, Then assign the 5 products to that page. Once that is done click the Publish tab that appears in the upper right of the screen and your page and products will be published to the website.

I was at the tutorial and I could not find the info on how to arrange the products in order to list on the page. I set up all five as you suggested, should I have posted them one at a time as it was created?

To arrange the items on the page you go to the Pages screen, select the page the products are assigned to and click the Arrange Items buttons. It will show you a list of products that are assigned to the page and you can select the products in order from the dropdown lists.

If not all of the items you want are on the page you would assign them to the page by going to Pages, select the Page you want to add products to , click the Assign Items button and choose the Products option and then choose the products you want on the page.
