FedEx error for zip code 75503

When entering a zip code to calculate shipping (before ever selecting a State), my FedEx module reports an error for the zip code 75503. Error below:

FedEx Message: Recipient postal code does not match recipient state/province code.
Shipping costs cannot be computed for some items in your cart. Please contact the merchant.

I have tested many other valid zip codes with no apparent problem. I have tried this on two different shopsite stores, both hosted by PowWeb. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

One of the two websites is at http://www.polyphasemicrowave.com/singleside.html (add any product to get to the cart to see what I mean).

Is there a fix for this? Many thanks to the community in advance!

This does not happen in the current version of ShopSite so you should consider having your host upgrade you to the latest version ShopSite 10 sp2 r2. This issue was resolved in ShopSite 10 sp1 in 2009.

To work around the issue go to Commerce Setup > Tax > make sure the Use Zip Code to determine sales tax option is selected and click Configure.
Go to the Arkansas list of zipcodes and remove the 755?? entry. Save changes, Then go to your store and order a product (empty the cart first if there is already something in it) and you should now not see the Fedex warning.
