Why will Shop Site allow an order to be processed with First Class Mail if it weighs over 13oz?
We sell some small, light items that are bought in different quantities. All is well until a customer orders a large quantity and checks out, and is able to select First Class Mail even though technically the item weighs too much to use First Class Mail.
For instance, we have an item that weighs .15 lbs = 2.4 oz. A customer purchases 10 tests which would weigh 24 ounces. The customer can choose between first class for $2 or Priority for $6. Most customers will choose the less expensive of the 2 which means we have to eat the cost of the difference.
Does anyone else have this issue? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Kim
