Ordering Options In Stock Quantity Not Working

Hi all,
I did a search and could not find a solution to this.

We are running SS Pro 10sp2.

We just noticed a problem. After adding several sizes to the ordering options list and filling out the In stock, Low Stock and Out of Stock fields under Advanced we tested a few products.

For example:
Sample Dress - Size 2
In Stock: 2, Low Stock: 1, Out of Stock: 0.

Ordering the Sample Dress and size 2 allows me to buy more then 2 items (in my test example 18). The shopping cart never throws an error and allows me to order any number of items.

We are in the process of adding the items to the database and have not yet wrapped a custom theme. The current theme is "Three Column".

Anyone have any idea why this is not working?

EDIT: Problem fixed. Not sure what it was but after rebuilding the entire site it is working.

I'm glad to hear that the problem is fixed. One thing that could have been the issue is that inventory tracking may not have been turned on. ShopSite does have the inventory tracking fields available to be filled in for the products without the inventory tracking feature being turned on. In order for ShopSite to keep track of inventory, the inventory tracking feature needs to be turned on. You can also configure the inventory tracking feature to send you notifications when you are at low stock or out of stock. To turn this feature on and configure the email settings you will want to go to Preferences > Inventory Tracking.
