Google Checkout not displaying ALL order options

Hi,

Many of our items have multiple order options that can be selected on the cart screen. The Google Checkout screen is not showing all the order options selected. Also, the complete list of order options is not showing up in the Google Checkout back-office.

Any help would really be appreciated.

I don't believe that the ordering options are ever passed to Google checkout so they can be selected on the Google Checkout payment screen. Is that where you are expecting to see them? Here is a brief description of how Google checkout works. Thee shopping cart passes the product(s) the shopper is purchasing, and all the possible shipping options configured in the store to Google. Google displays the product information (as passed which would include just the selected order options) and gets the shoppers address information. Once the address is entered Google makes a call back to the shopping cart (this is done behind the scene) to get the appropriate shipping rates for the shipping options that apply to that address. Google then displays the shipping options to the shopper and the shopper chooses one. Google again makes a call to ShopSite for the tax to apply to the order.

Google does not allow for changing of products on their side of the process so all options must be selected on the Shopping cart.

We are not expecting to be able to make any order changes from the Google Checkout screen.

What we are seeing is that ALL order options selected on the shopsite screen are not showing up on the Google Checkout screen. Any order option selected after an order option that has a price rule is not showing up on Google.

For example:
Customer adds widget to cart.
On shopping cart screen option 1 selects special color (+$2.00)
On shopping cart screen option 2 selects special accessories (+$2.00)
On shopping cart screen option 3 selects more features (+$2.00)
In this case, ONLY the first option is displayed on the Google Checkout screen.

Second example:
Customer adds widget to cart.
On shopping cart screen option 1 selects special color (+$2.00)
On shopping cart screen option 2 selects feature (no price change)
On shopping cart screen option 3 selects feature (no price change)
In this case, ONLY the first option is displayed on the Google Checkout screen.

Third example:
Customer adds widget to cart.
On shopping cart screen option 1 selects special color (no price change)
On shopping cart screen option 2 selects feature (no price change)
On shopping cart screen option 3 selects feature (no price change)
In this case, ALL order options are displayed on Google Checkout screen.

Here is a good example:

Add the B1 vario to your cart. On the cart screen, add an accessory from each option menu and then try checking out through Google Checkout. You'll see only one of the options you selected on the Google screen.

I have been able to reproduce the problem. I'll check with the engineering team and see if there is a reason on the ShopSite side for the problem. I'll get back to you when I get some info from them.
