Google Analytics Error

I am trying to migrate our shopsite web site from using Google analytics with the urchin code to the new js code that appears to be supported in shopsite 10. I have the new code manually on our index.html page, but when I run the shopsite google analystics wizard with the new Google tracking code pasted into the shopsite wizard, I get the error:

"Tracking Code does not contain a complete account value"

and I can't get any further. Why is this error occuring? Does shopsite support this new google js tacking code that is created by Google Analytics? What does this error want me to change?

Because unless you have ShopSite 10 sp2 or newer, then your version of ShopSite does not support the very latest Google Analytics 'Asyncronous' tracking script. Unfortunately, Google Analytics has stopped showing the older versions of the tracking script like they used to. But fortunately, you do not need to enter the entire tracking script into ShopSite. Just locate the unique tracking number for your site that is inside the script (it will look something like UA-123456-1) and paste it into the 'Google Analytics Tracking Code:' field in your ShopSite's main Merchandising -> Google -> Google Analytics menu and click Save and you're done.

The Google UA code is correct in the shopsite field. Question: On that page, do I check Urchin or "New Google" tracking? And just to be clear, I do not have to worry about the script that is in the field that contains an Urchin reference?
