Shopsite Message - Shipping Rates

Shipping Rates have been recalculated based upon your zip code.
Please review them before continuing with your order.

I am very much dislike this ERROR MESSAGE!!!
You get this message regardless, and we have Flat Shipping selected. We decided to switch back to having customer select Tax. This will remove the Zip Code and no error messages.

Do anyone have a better work around? We stop using this option years ago due to Tax customers not selecting I Live in Texas in drop down.

The message is displayed to let shoppers know that their shopping cart has been updated.

The text for messages can be edited in the backoffice of the store under Preferences > Store text. Have you tried changing the message to something you may like better? .

Your store is using ShopSite 8.3.1 which is almost 3 years old now and there have been 3 major releases since then. Have you check a more recent version to see what changes have been made? You can get a demo at http://shopsite.com/demo.html
