Can a product option create a new sku?

I am desperately trying to configure the way my product options are listed in ShopSite so that they will import correctly into Stone Edge. I am brand new at Stone Edge (Version 5.913) and a long time ShopSite (Pro 10 sp1 r2) user. For example...I have Product A, in the order option drop down list you may purchase Product A and also add Product B to your order. In the ShopSite cart it shows this as one line item of Product A with an order option of Product B. Is there ANYWAY that I can configure or code the order options to add Product B as a second line item in the shopping cart?

If there is no way to do this within ShopSite, is there any way to have it converted to a second product when it goes into Stone Edge?

You can add product B as a subproduct. In some of the ShopSite built in templates subproducts are displayed with checkboxes (or you can set it up this way with a custom template).

Looks like that can work. Unfortunately, I am "custom template challenged". If I supply my current template to you/someone can you make this happen for me? I will pay for your time.

The Stone Edge Order Manager has a system parameter called OptionDestination. If you set it to "Line Items", then each order option will appear in the Order Manager as a separate line item. If you contact our Support department, they can help you figure out the best way to set things up for your products.
