Associate Links

On the "Edit Associate Information" page, if I click the "Update Link" accidentally (like I just did), their affiliate link changes, even if the information is the same. Do I have to notify the associate so they update their links as well, OR will the previous link still work?

There was NO change to the affiliate info, I was on that page because I wanted to check their %. And there wasn't any warning! Please tell me the previous link is still okay . . .

What changed about the new Associate link? If it was just the encrypted store= value, then that is just fine, the old version will work, too. If you changed the Associate name, then you will need to give them a new link (or change the Associate name back to what it was) since the Associate name is part of the link that needs to remain consistent.

It was just the Store value, the part I have no control over.

Thank you for the good news, what a relief. Now I won't have to bother the associate!
