Google Analytics Asynchronous code

With Google finally declaring that page load times are a ranking factor in their algorithm ( http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot. ... nking.html ), and them admitting that their javascript tracking is slow, they released their asynchronous code to help speed things back up ( http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/d ... cking.html )..

Unfortunately I don't see a way to add the ansynch code without disabling the analytics feature in Merchandising -> Google Services -> Analytics and then adding it manually in the footer code somewhere..

Its easy enough to do this, but is there a plan to release a fix for this so that the autogenerated analytics code in shopsite uses the new asynch code??

Going after every little tiny spec of speed "just in case"
