PayPal Transaction ID

Is there a way to capture the PayPal transaction ID at the time of purchase on the "Thank You" shopping cart page?

I'm looking at implementing PayPal for Shopsite and different options for providing refunds to customers.

What PayPal method are you using in your ShopSite?

I use PayPal Standard in my store, and the PayPal 'txn_id' value is stored in the resulting ShopSite order in the 'Payment Processing Info' section of the View Orders screen in ShopSite. I'm sure with the other PayPal methods something similar to this would be in the 'Payment Processing Info' section, too. Is this what you are talking about?

I will be using Website Payments Pro. I'm more interested in if the PayPal transaction id is passed through the shopping cart on-the-fly during a purchase, instead of looking it up through the View Orders module. Similar to how the ShopSite shopping cart javascript variables currently work.
