editing the page customers go to when they click [View your

[View your Shopping Cart] it goes to where i installed the cart, but i want it to go to my main page.

acutally, i mean the "Home" button. when clicked on, i need it to go to my home page, not the folder where i installed shopsite.

Why?

Most people would expect to see the products that they have put in the cart, not a page where they can add more products to the cart/

If you want a link to go to the main page just create a link to the main page like this.
<a href="http://your.domain.com/index.html" >Descriptive text you want the shopper to be able to read and click on </a>

Hi Jim,

I want it like that, because my home page is where all of my add to cart buttons are at.

What I mean is, when a customer is looking at their shopping cart and they hit that "Home" button listed under "Categories" I want them to go to my home page, just like they do if they click the "continue shopping" button.

Then just fix the "Home" button so it goes to the main page. Is that button labeled Add to Cart?

What template are you using?
What do you have set in the My Store URL on Preferences > Hosting Services?
What do you have for the Return to Shopping Button option on Commerce Setup > Order System > Shopping cart screen?
