Is shpsite down? My entire website shopping cart is down!

My cart is down at www.fireprints.com and I get this error message:

Error opening new basket database file "/home/users/conf/b2124/ipw.fireprints/storedata/ip/SSMSB1267989727.9496" from "./basket.new" This can be caused if the file "./basket.new" does not exist, or if either directory path has incorrect permissions or ownership. Please alert the store owner that this problem exists.

It was working fine last night and early this am and I have not done any updates. What is going on?

We've seen this happen before if the UPS realtime shipping rate servers are slow to return rates. It can cause the cart to time out. I see you use UPS shipping rates, so this may have been the cause. Or, your host may have had a problem earlier.

Currently it seems your cart is working fine. If you're still having a problem, try clicking the "View Cart" button and then clicking "empty cart" to clear your cart and associated basket file.
