Getting rid of Shopsite security image

I am trying to get the Shopsite security image out of my custom page template. I found and deleted this piece of code but it did not seem to remove anything...

In the backoffice of your ShopSite go to Qrders > Security >Security Status and turn the feature off by unchecking the "Display Security Image" checkbox.

I'm sorry I think I was referring to something different. I am talking about the logo at the bottom of my pages that said "Powered by Shopsite, Shopping Cart Software"

That sounds like the default page footer. Go to Preferences -> Header & Footer (or Preferences -> Layout Settings if you have ShopSite 10 sp1 or newer) and modify or remove the Footer text there, then Publish again.
