Links to Pages problem with Curved template

Postby JohnR » Thu Jan 14, 2010 8:02 pm

I am using your curved theme with a slate blue layout. I am encountering a problem with Links to Pages.

Altnough on each of my thirteen pages, I have selected that all links should appear, the links on the pages all appear in different order.

I deleted all of the links and started over using the same methodology on each page, but the links appear in what appears to be a random unsorted order.

Home can I order the links?

What product level of ShopSite do you have? In the Pro level you can arrange the links and they will stay in that order. I'm not sure about Manager it may have that functionality in the latest version. Starter does not have the ability to arrange the links.

The default order that the links appear in will be the order that the pages / products were added to the database.

I am running Product: Manager Version:10 r7.1. The problem is that the Links are inconsistently ordered. The categories are not the same on each page even though all categories have been included on for each page?

The ability to arrange page links was added to Manager level stores in ShopSite 10.

You can do the sorting in 2 ways,
1. On the pages screen click the Arrange Items button for the page you want to arrange the links on. All items will assigned to the page will be listed with a number by them. In the entry box you can enter intermediate numbers by specifying a decimal number so for example to put item 5 between items 1 and 2 you could put 1.1.
When finished or to rearrange them while you are sorting click the Sort as Specified button. When you are satisfied with the order Save the changes and republish

2. On the Pages > Edit Page Layout screen near the bottom there is a section, Page Arrangement Settings Where you can select the sort order for the Pages and Products. based on name or one of several other page or product fields.
