Product "Unavailable"

We are using Shopsite V10.

We are NOT using inventory control but one of our products when ordered keeps coming up with the message 'product no longer available'. Any suggestions?

The product must have been deleted from the backoffice of the store so it is no longer in the database but there is an add to cart link on a page somewhere that was not removed.
