I'm trying to create a custom template for the shopping cart/checkout and am having troubles with the checks and money orders.
I've taken checks and money orders through the mail in the past, and at times I could be really swamped with them. These were difficult because I had to do a lot of manual entry of names and addresses and payments received amounts.
So, instead, I would like it when the customer chooses check or money order as a payment option, all of their ordering information was sent to a seperate database and they were taken to a screen summarizing their order and amount due. It would also give them the name and address to send their payments to. And this screen could be printed out. (In fact I'd emphasize that they should print the screen out and send it along with their payment.)
This would be a great convenience both for me and them. Because I have found that when people do send checks and money orders they will print out their ordering screen anyway.
Is there any way a person could implement such a thing in ShopSite?
